Reasonable base for exploring Sant'Antonio. Small hotel with nice staff and beautiful views on the mountains and the lake. Stunning and super location next to the mountains and the lake, Bellinzona and the lakes, only 5 minutes walk from Sant'antonio. Also, in the town center. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the quadruple room, plus a fireplace, central heating, and a work desk. Great and fab food.

The triple room at Osteria Ritrovo Dei Passeggeri was cozy and welcoming. It had a private entrance, which made me feel like I had my own little hideaway. The electric kettle was a great addition, allowing me to enjoy a warm cup of tea whenever I wanted. the room had a homey vibe that made me feel relaxed and comfortable.
I wasn't a big fan of the bath or shower in the private bathroom. It felt a bit cramped and could have used some more space.

As a senior woman, I was delighted by the cozy and traditional decoration of this charming mountain retreat. The hotel's rustic style and warm ambiance made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and offered beautiful views of the surrounding Alps. I especially appreciated the accessible layout, with easy-to-navigate pathways and comfortable seating areas that were perfect for relaxing. It was a peaceful and tranquil environment, ideal for senior travellers seeking a rejuvenating escape.
If I had to ask for one improvement, it would be for the children working there to provide more assistance to senior guests. While the staff was friendly, there were moments when their attention seemed divided, making it a bit challenging for seniors who may require additional support during their vacation.

Beautiful view and great price. Sweet host. What a fantastic location, high in the mountains. No shops or banks nearby, so peaceful! Beautiful views, with Lake Maggiore and snowy mountains visible. Room was good, again with lovely views.
Staff were not prepared to give us the Ticino ticket upon check-in which caused inconvenience. the property is located up a mountain and not accessible by public transport after 8pm, making it costly to rely on taxis.
